Dominic was a senior partner in Matthews Williams at Forbes before being called to the Bar. He practised in civil and criminal jurisdictions including the Supreme Court, Federal Court, District Court, Local Court and various tribunals including the ADT, AAT and the CTTT. Dominic has represented parties in many high profile cases including the Canberra, Cobar Central West and Grenfell bushfire claims; the Nyngan flood claims; the Seaview Commission; the Harry Potter copyright claim against JK Rowling conducted in the UK; various class actions including Business & Professional Leasing Pty Ltd v Dannawi involving trade practices; personal injury and motor accident claims; Shephard v Doolan (a family provision claim) and others.

Dominic has been active in promoting legal education as a co-chairman of the Noosa Litigation Conference and the Hong Kong Litigation Conference over many years and on the NSW Bar Association ADR Committee.

Dominic is an accredited Mediator with LEADR and has successfully mediated many Supreme Court and District Court disputes.
